The Richmond Fed invites college students and professors to join Laura Ullrich, regional economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, as she discusses how the labor market has changed during the pandemic and what changes might stick around in the future. She’ll explore topics such as labor shortages and wages, demographic changes to labor force participation rates, and how impacts from the pandemic vary by industry.

Hailey Phelps, Regional and Community Analysis Research Associate, will also discuss how she supports regional research as a part of the Research Associate program.
